Deleting your data

Delete your account from the app

Sign in, open Settings → “Edit profile”, then at the very bottom “Delete my account”. Your account and all your data (vehicles, services, fuel, reminders, notifications, team) are deleted permanently and immediately.

Cannot sign in any more?

Use “Forgot password” on the sign-in screen to regain access, then delete your account as described above.

If you signed in with Facebook or Google

Delete your Mecavya account as described above. To also remove the authorization on Facebook’s side: Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites → Mecavya → Remove. For Google: Google Account → Security → Sign in with Google → Mecavya → Remove access.

What is kept

Nothing is kept after deletion, apart from data the law requires us to keep (for example payment records held by PayPal, an independent provider).
