Frequently asked questions
Is the trial really free?
Yes. You get 3 days of full access when you create your account. After that, the app switches to read-only until you subscribe: your data stays intact.
Are my photos kept?
No. The photo is sent to be read, then discarded: Mecavya only keeps the result (mileage, make, model…). You can always correct the value before saving.
Do notifications work on iPhone?
Yes, in the app added to your home screen (iOS 16.4 or later) and in the mobile app. On Android they also work from the browser.
What can my drivers and renters see?
Only the vehicles you assign to them, their current mileage and their own entries. Never the rest of your logbook. A renter only enters the mileage, during the rental period.
Can I export my data?
Yes, at any time, as CSV from Settings. You can also delete your account and all your data.
I rent out vehicles: how does it work?
Add your vehicles, invite your agents, then your renters with their rental dates. On the return day, the renter enters the mileage from their phone; you find it in your log.
